About Us

Founded in 1962 and headquartered in Philadelphia, PA, Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin is a leading civil defense litigation law firm that represents and advises insurers, self-insured entities, and professionals in a wide range of professional liability, casualty, health law, employment, and workers' compensation matters. With more than 470 attorneys in some 30 distinct practice groups, located in 20 offices throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Ohio, Florida and New York, Marshall Dennehey is uniquely positioned to assist their clients in both avoiding damaging litigation as well as providing them with a vigorous defense in the event of claims and suits made against them.

Marshall Dennehey opened its 20th office, and third in New York State, in July 2014 in Westchester County, NY. Located in Rye Brook, in what is arguably the region's most recognized corporate landmark office building at 800 Westchester Avenue (white-domed, post-modern design originally built as General Foods' worldwide headquarters), the new location complements and expands upon the firm's existing offerings in Manhattan and Melville, Long Island.

Marshall Dennehey's expansion in New York is precipitated by the considerable growth of Westchester and the surrounding community as a regional commercial center over the past few decades. The county serves as a vibrant cross-section of business operations for numerous companies headquartered in Manhattan and across the Northeast corridor.

Led by James Connors, Esq., shareholder and office managing attorney, the Westchester office services clients in the county and throughout the entire New York Tri-State region. Staffed with attorneys in our Casualty, Health Care and Professional Liability Departments, the office's lawyers represent clients in all manner of civil defense litigation including premises, product and general liability; medical and dental malpractice defense; and professional liability matters.
